 Shawn Venezia is a fourth generaton stylist. He grew up in a family of hair stylists and has worked in the beauty industry his entire life. A recipient of over 150 industry awards, he opened his first salon at the age of 21 and is now the owner of a circa 1920 boutique salon. The young entrepreneur was trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy and the Jaques Dessange Academy. Later in his career he held numerous prestigious positions in the beauty industry including technical color educator for Perma of Paris and L’Oreal Professionnel.

“I love what I do,” he explains. “Working with people in order to make them look their best… how can it get any better?” A master colorist, one of Shawn’s specialties is a French highlighting technique called Balayage where they “hand paint sun streaks in the hair.” Shawn Venezia Salon's whole concept is an experience not just a cut and color.
